A safe place to begin again.
Seren Pathways CIC is a registered voluntary organisation and Community Interest Company, registered in England and Wales. We believe that with the right home, the right person beside you, and the right plan, people can rebuild lives.
Seren, what does it mean?
A star is something to navigate by. Quiet, steady, always there. For someone who has lost their bearings through homelessness, illness, custody, or crisis. That's the role we set out to play. Not a rescue. A guide.
Safe homes. Real support. Lives chosen, not handed down.
Seren Pathways CIC is a registered voluntary organisation and Community Interest Company delivering supported exempt accommodation, skills development, and person-centred community services for vulnerable adults across England and Wales.
We provide safe, high-quality exempt accommodation and structured support for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness, social exclusion, and housing insecurity, including those with mental health challenges, learning disabilities, substance misuse histories, offending backgrounds, and other complex needs. Our residents include people leaving custody, hospital discharge, domestic violence situations, and emergency or temporary accommodation.
Our core offer is supported exempt accommodation. Safe, managed properties where every resident has an individualised support plan, a dedicated key-worker, and a clear pathway toward independent living. But a home is only the beginning.
Alongside our accommodation, we deliver:
- Key-worker and case management services. Structured, goal-focused support working closely with residents and referral partners.
- Life skills programmes. Budgeting, cooking, financial literacy, tenancy management, and digital skills.
- Employability and education pathways. CV support, work readiness, and connections to training and accredited courses.
- Mental health and wellbeing support. Individual and group-based, trauma-informed, and recovery-focused.
- Community engagement initiatives. Reducing social isolation and building the confidence and connections residents need to thrive.
- Prevention services. Working upstream with statutory partners to support people before they reach crisis point.
- Consultancy and commissioned services. Working with local authorities, housing associations, and other providers to extend our reach and strengthen the wider sector.
We work in close partnership with Local Authority Housing and Social Care Teams, NHS Community Mental Health Teams, Probation Services, and voluntary sector agencies, so every resident has a coordinated, joined-up pathway and nobody falls through the gaps between services.
All surpluses are reinvested into the organisation. No profits are distributed. Everything we generate goes back into better homes, better support, and more people reached.
Value
Person-centred
We start with the person, not the paperwork. Every plan is built around the resident's goals, history and pace.
Value
Partnership-led
We work alongside statutory and voluntary partners as one team around each resident, never in isolation.
Value
Outcomes-focused
We measure progress that matters: stable tenancies, improved wellbeing, training, work, and confidence.
A community asset. Not a business.
As a registered Community Interest Company, Seren Pathways is asset-locked. No profits are distributed. Every surplus we generate goes back into better homes, better support, and more people reached.
